Human Rights Policy

Torex Group places respect for and protection of the fundamental human rights of all people at the core of our business activities..
We follow international human rights principles (*1) and the policy outlined below, and our entire organization protects human rights and contributes to the realization of a sustainable society.

1. Emphasis on diversity and prohibiting discrimination and harassment
We do not discriminate or harass any of our employees, clients, or vendors on the basis of race, ethnicity, religion, nationality, place of origin, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, age, disability, or illness. We provide equal opportunity to everyone.

2. Prohibition of forced labor and child labor
We prohibit all forms of forced labor, human trafficking, and child labor.

3. Protection of employee rights
We ensure fair wages and employment as well as a safe and healthy working environment, completely follow the laws regarding working hours, and preserve rights for laborers.

4. Promotion of the safety and health of employees
We comply with laws, regulations and provisions regarding safety and health, prevent health risks for employees and maintain and promote their health.

5. Respect for freedom of association and collective bargaining
We respect employees' rights to exercise freedom of association and collective bargaining, and negotiate in good faith.  

6. Protection of privacy
We protect the personal information of employees, clients, and vendors in compliance with the applicable laws.  

7. Compliance with human rights laws and risk management
We strive to understand laws for preventing human rights abuses, specify risks in approved prevention laws (*2) and create countermeasures.  

8.  Establishment of appropriate reporting channels
We will establish an appropriate reporting channel for human rights violations and ensure early to deal with human rights violations and prevent them from happening.
In the event that a human rights violation occurs, we will appropriately deal with it while protecting the privacy of those involved.

9. Systems and initiatives for respecting human rights
Under the leadership of top management, we implement the human rights policy upheld by the Torex Group. We conduct due diligence on human rights upon regularly monitoring the implementation of our human rights policy.
